Instead of resistence being measured in resistance, how about measuring it in "Flow":
F = 1/R
I = E x F
E = I / F
F = A / V
And now the great bit... how to work out the flow in parallel circuits:
Rt = 1 / ( 1 / R1 ) + ( 1 / R2 )
Ft = F1 + F2
Problem is, resistence in series now just got a whole lot harder...
Rt = R1 + R2
Ft = 1 / ( 1 / F1 ) + ( 1 / F2 )
Oh well, swings and roundabouts.
